Share your thoughts and memories

On Sept. 14, 2008, the Boston University community lost an adored member of its faculty. Jack Falla was an exceptional author, a gifted professor and a dedicated mentor. He loved to teach and motivate his students through his experiences and stories from his travails as a sportswriter. Jack, a two-time College of Communication alum (BS ’67 & MS ’90), had most recently published two books, Saved and Open Ice: Reflections and Confessions of a Hockey Lifer. Our sympathies go out to his entire family, including wife Barbara, son Brian, daughter Tracey and beloved grandchildren Demetre and Ella. A teacher, mentor and friend, he was COM’s hat trick. Please use this forum to share your fondest memories of Jack and share your thoughts on his passing. Click the comments link below to read the thread and add your tribute.
